Spice Bazaar: Immerse yourself in the aroma of spices, dried fruits and nuts. Don't forget to buy Turkish delight here.

Evening:
Galata Bridge: Watch the fishermen crossing the street and enjoy the Bosphorus view.
Galata Tower: Climb the tower for a panoramic view of Istanbul. The sunset from here is magical.
Day 3: Across the Bosphorus
Morning:
Crossing the Asian Side by Ferry: Start in Kadıköy. Explore the market, taste street food like simit or gözleme.
Afternoon:
Üsküdar: Visit the Maiden's Tower, learn about history and legends, then take a walk along the Bosphorus.

Transportation: Get an Istanbulkart, it's easy to use on public transport.
Dressing: You must dress modestly in mosques. If you're a woman, carry a scarf to cover your head, shoulders and knees should be covered.
Cuisine: Don't leave without trying baklava, döner, Turkish coffee and, if you're adventurous, kokoreç (lamb intestines).
Language: Basic Turkish phrases will do, but many people in touristy areas speak English.
