Some of the items forgotten in public transport vehicles can be taken back by their owners. However, there may be items that are forgotten and not requested by their owners. In this case, after a certain period of time, such items can be put up for sale by auction. For example, Ankara EGO General Directorate puts such unclaimed items up for sale by auction after a period of one year. This is done by bargaining in front of the auction commission, which is open to the public.

Among the lost items, laptops, tablets and phones can be found, albeit in small amounts. The most interesting items and materials recently are drones, rackets, foot massagers, side flutes, chess sets, motorcycle helmets, boxing gloves, computer cases and ironing boards.

The most forgotten items are as follows:
